Flashback weekend

Holy Formative years Flashbacks! Last weekend I VJed at Savannah's for Toys in the Attic an Aerosmith tribute band (but you guessed that). Then the next night went to SPAC to see Cheap Trick, Heart and Journey. Wow. Too...many...memories...

The new singer for Journey sounds almost exactly like Steve Perry. Perhaps more like Steve Perry on the late 70s than the actual Steve Perry would sound today. Great shows by all the bands. My fave moment: Heart covering the Who's Rain over Me.

After the Toys in the Attic set I VJed to the DJ. I was a sub for Brother Immortal and DJ Matt was a sub for DJ Lady Verse. All went well til 2am the PA system lost power. It's no fun VJing to silence. I threw up loops that said "I'm not the DJ" and "The system is down" and waited for power to return.
